Ignite Your Relationship With Jesus

How Catholics can Improve in their Understanding of Jesus Perspective with regards to the Kingdom of Heaven

Catholics mostly believe that Mary is like God. They put Mary above Jesus. They ask Mary for forgiveness using a rosarie necklace. Yet, Jesus and the Father the only one we worship. God is a jealous God. We know not to worship idols. An idol is identifying the powers of God to anything that is not God. Catholics should immediately cease their worship and idolatry with Mary. However, if they don’t choose to do so, we still love them. We still believe they are an important part of the body of Christ, but the more we gain Jesus’ perspective, the closer we will come to him and the closer we will come to the Kingdom of Heaven.

46 As Jesus was speaking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, asking to speak to him. 47 Someone told Jesus, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, and they want to speak to you.”[g]

48 Jesus asked, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?” 49 Then he pointed to his disciples and said, “Look, these are my mother and brothers. 50 Anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother!”

Paul wrote “And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.”

We should not call anyone “Father” but the Father in heaven. (Matthew 23:9) “8 “Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.[d] 9 And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father. 10 And don’t let anyone call you ‘Teacher,’ for you have only one teacher, the Messiah. ” We should not give titles or call anyone a Priest or Pope. The Pope is not the Holy Father. And while we appreciate his leadership, we think these small details can have a great impact on the Church. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. However, if they don’t choose to do so, we still love them. We still believe they are an important part of the body of Christ, but the more we gain Jesus’ perspective, the closer we will come to him and the closer we will come to the Kingdom of Heaven.
